90% of Instagrammers follow at least one business!

By Mohamad AlMardini,

Instagram has evolved from a photo-sharing app to a center of business operation in just over ten years. Customers can book reservations and brands can open stores using their profiles. The app has been updated with new business tools, features, and tips on a regular basis.

There are two types of people in business: those who use traditional marketing methods and those who use the website and social media app to launch their company. We experienced these two types at Flick and discovered that those who use websites and social media platforms, especially Instagram, are more available to their audiences, have the most effective advertising, and market their products the best.

However, keeping track of everything can be difficult, particularly if running an Instagram business account is just one aspect of your work. As a result, we’ve gathered it all in one place.

  • Get an Instagram business account:

Start a new account or switch from a personal to a business account.

  • Create a winning Instagram strategy:
  • Determine your target audience:

A strong understanding of your target audience is the foundation of a successful social media strategy.

  • Set goals and objectives:

Recognize your business goals and determining how Instagram will assist you in achieving them.

  • Track the right performance metrics:

These may vary depending on the business, but in general, metrics related to the social funnel should be prioritized. Align the objectives to one of the four consumer journey stages 1 Awareness – 2 Engagement – 3 Conversions – 4 Customer

  • Create a content calendar:

A well-planned social media content calendar ensures you don’t miss important dates and allows you to allot enough time for creative production. Look for ways to create patterns or regular episodes that can be turned into a series. Content buckets calendar enable you to check off those boxes without having to overthink the process of development. You’ll be better able to generate daily content and react to last-minute or unplanned events if you prepare ahead of time.

  • Optimize your Instagram profile to do business:

An Instagram business profile allows you to get a lot done in a short period of time. It’s where Instagram users can learn more about your business, visit your website, and even book an appointment.

  • rite a great bio
  • Optimize your profile pic
  • Use your website/blog link in the bio
  • Add relevant contact info
  • Configure action buttons
  • Add Story Highlights and covers
  • Share high-quality content:

Create a visual aesthetic for your brand: Since Instagram is all about visuals, it’s important to have a unique visual identity. Establish recurring pillar themes that you can switch out. The material would be evident in some situations.

Build a cohesive visual look once you’ve decided on your themes. This requires a colour scheme and overall aesthetic that your followers can know as soon as they see it on Instagram. Write compelling captions: Captions give you the opportunity to tell the story behind the picture. Empathy, culture, and confidence can all be built with good writing. It could also just be amusing. This Reformation caption is smart, dynamic, and alludes to the brand’s environmental commitment in just few words.

Develop a distinct brand voice to ensure consistency. You must use emojis, have a brand style guide, and use the correct hashtags for your Instagram post or story. Your captions would be more distinct and on-brand if you follow this set of guidelines. Casual material should be scheduled for Instagram Stories: Every day, over 500 million people watch Instagram Stories. After seeing a brand or product in a Story, 58 % were interested in it. Even when it comes to brand content, people have taken to the format’s casual, disappearing style.

This style is excellent for telling stories. Tell real-life brand stories with a beginning, middle, and end. Use Stories stickers to engage your audience and have value to encourage them to watch your Stories regularly. You can also have links in your Instagram Stories if you have more than 10,000 Instagram followers. Extra tips especially for you from Flick experience:

  • Respond to Instagram comments and reactions to your company posts and stories, so that users are encouraged to keep connecting with your brand.
  • You may be tempted to use bots to automate your engagement. It’s not a good idea. We gave it a shot, but it didn’t go so well. Set aside some time to react authentically when your brand is mentioned or tagged.
